Okay so last time I wrote in here I was contemplating cutting my hair and getting lenses. I did both. My hair is now really short and nothing for me to use my hair bands on, so they've become useless haha. My contacts are evil. It takes time to get use to them I've been told and I learned while the nice girl was showing me how to put them in, that they're weighted. And of course I was like:
Me: Why?
Her: Because you have astigmatism.
Me: ...
I've had glasses since I was like 10 or 11 and they are just now telling me I've got astigmatism. It's not that it's frightening or anything, it's a common thing, but it's the fact that no one saw fit to say anything in all the years I've had glasses. And to learn it in a passing conversation was a wtf moment for me. I've also come to realize that the lens aren't that comfortable. When I went in today to get my glasses done as I really hadn't thought about it until yesterday, the same girl who helped me with my lens asked how I was doing with them and I told her I didn't think they fit as I didn't remember getting fitted for them because you have to with astigmatism and she said the doctor had done that when I went in for my lens exam, but if I still felt that they weren't right I could come in and get them tweaked so that's always nice. I also learned from several people that I can really rock the blonde look as my hair is white/blonde if anyone remembers. lol XD
On an even stranger note, I was working on a cover last night and I found this teeny tiny ant crawling across my monitor. So I went to flatten it like a pancake only to find that it was actually UNDER THE DAMN SCREEN!!!! THIS IS MY WACOM CINTIQ 22HD TABLET SCREEN WE'RE TALKING ABOUT! I was like WTF!!!! It popped out like twice, but the 2nd time I think I pushed a bit too hard and killed it behind the black border running along the screen edge. lol xD Or it got out and that was the 2nd ant I actually managed to kill enjoying my screens light. This is what happens when I've got my desk against my window with it open. BLARG!
